Advancing Private Sector Readiness in Saudi Arabia’s Health Sector Transformation Program

A private hospital network in Saudi Arabia was seeking to align its operations with the national Health Sector Transformation Program (HSTP), a flagship initiative under Vision 2030. The HSTP aims to overhaul the Kingdom’s healthcare system, focusing on digital health, private sector participation, disease prevention and patient-centred care. For private providers, the challenge lay in meeting new regulatory standards, integrating with national digital health platforms and demonstrating value-based outcomes in a rapidly changing environment.

Arband Partners was engaged by the hospital network to provide strategic advisory support during this transition. Our consultants conducted a thorough assessment of the network’s digital infrastructure and operational processes, benchmarking them against the HSTP’s requirements and international best practices. Based on these findings, Arband Partners developed a phased transformation roadmap, prioritising the adoption of unified electronic medical records and the expansion of telehealth services. We supported the client in engaging with relevant regulatory bodies and public health clusters, ensuring compliance with evolving standards and facilitating smoother integration with national e-health systems.

The hospital network successfully accelerated its digital transformation, achieving compliance with national digital health requirements and launching new virtual care services. Engagement with public sector partners improved, enabling more effective data sharing and regulatory alignment. The network reported measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, establishing itself as a model for private sector contribution to Saudi Arabia’s healthcare modernisation.
